    Wynona Dizon, MD

    Dr. Dizon was born in the Philippines and moved to Las Vegas, NV when she was five years old. She received her bachelor's degree in biological sciences from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) and went on to pursue her medical education at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV (she was a part of the second glass to graduate). Dr. Dizon completed her family medicine residency at UNLV where she completed the academic track and maternal health track, and served as chief resident in her final year. During her residency she led and helped facilitate several obstetrics-related workshops geared towards high school students, medical students, and residents. She is passionate about providing prenatal care to the underserved population and working with residents and medical students. Upon completion of fellowship, Dr. Dizon hopes to work in an academic institution or private practice as a family medicine and obstetrics physician. She enjoys trying new restaurants with her husband, spending time with her family and dogs, baking sweet treats, and going to Pilates and the gym.

    Hanain Fazal, DO

    Dr. Fazal was born in Long Island, NY and raised in Citrus County, FL. She went on to attend the University of Florida (go gators!) where she completed a bachelors of science in Psychology and a minor in East Asian Languages and Literature with a concentration in Japanese. Continuing her education, she received her degree as a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at the New York Institute of Technology College Of Osteopathic Medicine at Arkansas State University. She completed her family medicine residency at Emory University in Atlanta, GA with a concentration in obstetrics. During her time in residency, she completed several extra months of training on labor and delivery, led various obstetric-focused workshops and lectures to optimize resident learning, and presented her research at the national AAFP (American Academy of Family Physicians) Family-Centered Pregnancy Care conference. Dr. Fazal is passionate about resident education in regards to women's health and pregnancy care, and plans to practice as a Family Medicine and Obstetrics physician in an academic setting upon conclusion of her fellowship. In her free time, she enjoys learning languages, spending time with her cats, attending yoga and fitness classes, and playing video games.
