Obstetrics Fellowship

Ascension St. Vincent’s Family Medicine Residency has a long tradition of excellence in obstetrics training. In 2023, we expanded this commitment by launching the Obstetrics Fellowship, created in response to the growing needs of the urban underserved community and the surrounding obstetrical deserts our program serves. The fellowship is designed to prepare family medicine physicians to provide comprehensive obstetric care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with opportunities for advanced surgical training. Graduates are equipped with the skills and confidence to practice full spectrum obstetrics in diverse clinical environments, meeting critical community needs and expanding access to care.
